What you'll do
In this session, you’ll experience the power of combining laughter and play with simple brain-boosting techniques that are supported by neuroscience research and designed to boost mood, reduce stress, and foster connection.
*Option to include a short introduction about the neuroscience of laughter and the myriad of health benefits that are associated with practicing regularly.
Starting with gentle breath work to oxygenate the brain and calm the nervous system, the session is followed by guided laughter exercises that boost all the happy neurochemicals in the brain while also releasing tension, sparking joy, and strengthening neural pathways through positive emotional states.
You’ll learn practical, science-backed tips for enhancing cognitive health, all woven seamlessly into mindfulness exercises, brain gym activities, and shared laughter. The session finishes with a soothing relaxation, leaving you refreshed, clear-headed, and energised both mentally and physically.
The practice of laughter is ideal for those seeking connection, engagement, confidence building, and a fun way to boost confidence, empathy and compassion.
This class can be stand alone, but is always more beneficial when practiced on a regular basis over a number of weeks as people begin to relax and get more comfortable with the playful exercises.
